    Hordes are cheap to start, compared to other minis games AND faster to paint, for those not all that into painting. (if you are into painting, hordes are small enough armies where you CAN take your time on every single piece and make them all awesome.)
    The rules are simple and a "starter set" game takes 45 minutes, tops. afro

    Hordes/Warmachine are both small and cheapER to start, but I miss seeing the Fantasy players. Most of them conformed to Hordes...COME BACK FANTASY!!!

    I am still fantasy...Hordes/Warmachine is ok though, I just don't play it. However, I am giving up my 40k (well, buying more, not playing) for Flames of War....WW2 miniatures game.

    Sorry I've been in barstow and haven't been in to play.

    Ultimately it comes down to which one you think looks cooler and funnier to play.

    Question is how big do want to go and whether or not you play other rpg's to double up the mini use like i do with DnD.

    I stopped playing for a while just cuz of my schedual changes and what not. I got rid of both my 40k and fantasy army due to some financial things. I do plan on getting back into fantasy though and ive been throwing around the idea of starting a hord/warmachine army. also that flames of war game looks cool to.

    Justin on top of his orc Fantasy is here to stay. Although I do like the speed of the hord and warmachine. I guess if I start to get some money together there will deffenatly be som experimants. Sometimes it gets hard to play Fantasy in a rush

    well if you ask any one here right now im ona huge hordes war macine kick...and i would like more players in that category, but to tell you the truth i would prefer fantasy....and yes i realize im posting this after knowing the fact you went and got the great deal on the 40k army..but maybe you can finagle your way into another game since you found such a good deal on the first...lol

    Fantasy is great you could prob even use em for some mordheim... but yes hord/warmachine is cheaper to start... pirat
