Writers sub-forum?

I've noticed a lot of gamers like to write. how many of you would be interested in a safe place to post your stuff for critique or just to critique other peoples works?

Okay,

I am going to keep this poll up for another week to see how many people would be taking advantage of the writers forum. There is concern about creating another sub forum that isn't really used, so we want to make sure the space would be used. Right now, it is looking promising though.

Until then, everyone feel free to drop some suggestions here,let me know what kind of rules you writers would want in that forum, or just talk a little about what you write.

(i.e. some people might want a little sugarcoat on their criticism, other are a little more bold with that. Is there interest in a topic for no-critics allowed. would people be interested in only allowing other writers to see their stuff.

we haven't seen much interest in this idea, so for now the writers sub-forum will not be created.

This is a shame. I know I have neglected Kelwin's Journal (ready to cut and paste it tonight tho) but was looking forward to it. Guess we'll just have to meet in a coffee house for short story slams. Oh, well.

I'll bring my snapping fingers and bongo drums! ...oh wait that's poetry. hmmmmm....

I originally thought 11 writers was not very much, but considering the size of this forum and the amount of regular posters vs. lurkers, I think 11 is a fine number indeed.

I will PM the all powerful admin., and set something up.
